Andrea Condello

I want to build businesses: start them, fix what runs badly, make them grow.

Portrait of Andrea Condello

Si è sempre fatto così.

“It has always been done this way.”It is the Italian sentence I like least. To me it usually means there is something worth changing.

How I work

  1. 01

    Start from what works badly

At Junior Enterprise Bologna I led the finance consulting unit and launched two new services, go-to-market strategy and feasibility analysis: revenue grew by 43% and client satisfaction reached 9.5 out of 10. Later I redesigned how the organisation worked, from its processes to its teams.

  2. 02

Repetitive work is a design problem

When people spend hours on the same task, I look at the process before the people. At Orrick I designed AI workflows and automations for business development research and document analysis. For JE Italy I built a web app that runs the General Assembly live, with attendance, proxies, quorum and votes, and a first draft of the minutes at the end.

  3. 03

An idea counts when someone pays for it

I like the commercial side of work. At JEBO I ran the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing. At JE Italy I negotiated national partnerships, like the agreement with ANDAF, the Italian association of CFOs and finance directors, and worked with Assoconsult on Next JEn Consulting, which brings 250 students and consulting firms together.

  4. 04

A company is mostly its people

During my bachelor’s I led a ten-person consulting team. At JE Italy I coordinated a national team of 92 people and a General Assembly of 36 presidents. At Bending Spoons I now work on the decision that comes before all the others in a company: who joins it.
